Enhancing Agriculture Practices in Mizoram Towards Sustainable Development Using Machine Learning and Deep Learning

Outcomes

• 1 We have developed a Crop Recommendation System based on soil nutrients and climate data
• 2 We implemented a Plant Disease Detection model using deep learning and image analysis
• 3 Integrated real-time Weather Detection based on Mizoram district names like Lunglei and Champhai
• 4 Connected all three models with a unified backend using Python Flask
• 5 Created a user-friendly web interface using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• 6 Tested the crop recommendation accuracy using real soil data samples
• 7 Trained the plant disease model with a dataset from Kaggle on rice and maize leaves
• 8 Linked the weather forecast API to dynamically update weather conditions
